And picnics in the park,

Star maps twinkling through a lens

Like lanterns in the dark -

Circuit boards and lemon gourds,

A jukebox for lost souls;

Fish and chips on stranded ships

And gardens in glass bowls.

Little clockwork cut-outs

That jolt and dance and sing:

Fixing hearts and hinges

So the world can find its wings.
